Kendall Sheffield, a 6-foot-0, 180-pound cornerback from Fort Bend (Texas) Marshall High is one of the toughest recruits to get a read on as he is still considering many schools and has not officially narrowed down his list to a top set of schools. But one school that is squarely in the mix is Alabama and the scout five-star is set to visit the school following The Opening on July 13th (Saturday). Stay tuned as that visit could be a big one for him.
Oklahoma commit P.J. Mbanasor, a 6-foot-2, 190-pounder from Pflugerville (Texas) Hendrickson has turned from recruit to recruiter. One player that he has been working hard on is good friend Kahlil Haughton, a Scout four-star safety from up the road at Waco (Texas) Midway. He would love to form a DB tandem with him in Norman. Another player that he continues to stay on is a bit of a surprise in Texas commit Keivon Ramsey. Mbanasor says those are the two guys he is working the hardest at this point in time.
Sotonye Jamabo, a 6-foot-2, 206-pound running back from Plano (Texas) West High is one of the most highly targeted recruits in the Lon Star State. He has taken trips to two schools unofficially in UCLA and Notre Dame. He was blown away on both stops, but from both ends of the spectrum. He liked the "Hollywood" atmosphere at in California and the seriousness around the football program at Notre Dame. He still has eyes on a trip to Ohio State out of state and is liking Baylor and Texas A&M out of state.
