Green discusses Oregon offer

Oregon extended another 2016 offer on Wednesday to Woodbury (Minn.) East Ridge quarterback Seth Green. He discusses the offer here.

As reported by Scout.com’s Allen Trieu, Oregon offered East Ridge quarterback Seth Green on Wednesday. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound four-star prospect told eDuck.com the offer was very exciting.

“I did a little mini-camp,” he said. “Then after that, they checked my film, went through my transcripts and then they offered me.”

Green has followed Oregon in seasons past and, after receiving the offer, described what he liked about the program.

“The coaches, the personalities, the work ethic,” he said. “Their focus on academics stood out a lot too. And also they just strive for greatness. They really want to be the best they can be and that just means a lot.”

Green will be in attendance when Oregon takes on Michigan State on Sept. 6. While on the visit, he has a couple of things he’d like to do.

“Just get more familiar with the program,” he said. “It’d be cool to meet a lot of the players.”

While he's interested and would like to receive offers from the likes of Alabama, Michigan State and Texas, Green said that if those schools offer, Oregon would still be a factor.

“They would be in strong consideration,” he said. “But they wouldn’t knock Oregon down.”
