Campbell setting up official visits

Corpus Christi (Tex.) Flour Bluff cornerback Jalen Campbell has two official visits in mind and a revised decision timeline.

Jalen Campbell knows where he'll take his official visits. The three-star Flour Bluff cornerback told eDuck on Thursday night that he'll be taking trips to TCU and Oregon this fall.

"I plan on taking an official visit to Oregon on November 1," he said. "My official to TCU is going to be before that. I just haven't picked out which date with the coaches."

The Oregon and TCU trips will likely be the only official visits that Campbell takes. Right now the 5-foot-11, 178-pound senior is focused on fall camp and getting back on the football field after a knee injury cost him his junior year.

"It's really exciting being back since I missed all last season being hurt," he said. "We're supposed to be really good this year."

After postponing his initial decision date on Aug. 11, Campbell has a clearer picture of when he'll actually make his college choice.

"After my official to Oregon," he said.
