Ducks in Charge at the Half

EUGENE – Two Erick Dargan interceptions spoiled Wyoming’s plans to control the ball in the first half and Oregon took advantage of the turnovers to take a 27-7 lead into the locker room. Marcus Mariota threw for 149 yards and one touchdown and also ran in two other scores including a highlight play of 19-yards and a highdive into the endzone.

For the half, Mariota was 13-for-17 and one TD pass to Devon Allen. Mariota also scored on a 5-yard run at the start of the second quarter.

Byron Marshall also scored on a 30-yard run in the second quarter.

So far, Marshall is the game’s leading rusher with 80 yards on six carries while Mariota 58 yards on three carries. Thomas Tyner has seven carries for 47 yards.

Allen is the leading receiver with three catches for 42 yards and the touchdown.
Wyoming got on the scoreboard first when Colby Kirkegaard found Tanner Gentry for an 18-yard scoring play culminating 11-play, 98-yard drive.

For the game Oregon has 344 yards of total offense (195 rushing, 149 passing) while Wyoming has 283 yards of total offense (139 rushing and 144 passing).

Shaun Wick is the leading rusher for the game with 98 net yards for the Cowboys.
