Ducks Up 21-10 at the Half

PASADENA – Oregon holds a 21-10 lead at the half over UCLA in a game that so far has shown a resurgence in the Duck running game. Marcus Mariota has thrown for two touchdowns and ran for an additional score. UCLA’s Brett Hundley scored a rushing TD just before the half ended.

Marcus Mariota scored in the first quarter on a 13-yard run after Brett Hundley was sacked and fumbled putting the ball on the UCLA 13. Holder Taylor Alie scored a 2-point conversion when he picked up the snapped ball and ran around the left end on an option play. Later on in the second quarter Mariota hit Thomas Tyner for a 24-yard score followed by a Matt Wogan point after kick.

Mariota finished off the Duck scoring when he hit Pharaoh Brown on 31-yard pass play. The PAT was missed.

UCLA scored first on a 20-yard field goal and Hundley’s TD with three seconds left in the half.

For the game Oregon has a total of 224 yards while UCLA has 262 yards. Royce Freeman has 59 yards rushing for the Ducks and Paul Perkins is the leading rusher for UCLA with 77 yards.
