Ducks Dominate in Pasadena

The Ducks arrived at the Rose Bowl to face UCLA with questions to answer on offense and defense. Inconsistency on the ground and in the air, on the line and behind left many questing how good Oregon is at this point. While Jake Fisher returned and shored up the offensive line, Arik Armstead's injury called for Sam Kamp and the Ducks' defense to stand up and fight. They did, and they won.

Strong play from Marcus Mariota and the Ducks offense helped Oregon capitalize on opportunities created by the defense, that literally turned UCLA on it's head. Today's convincing win helped restore team momentum and fans' confidence, as the gauntlet continues. Oregon looked the the Ducks everyone has expected, but can they sustain and consistently play this strong, in all aspects, to keep it going? Next week's game at home against the Huskies will be the first test.
