Ducks Up 28-6 at the Half

EUGENE – The Oregon Ducks went into the lockerroom at halftime with a commanding 28-6 lead over the visiting Washington Huskies. Marcus Mariota has been on fire throwing for 239 yards and a touchdown while Royce Freeman has three rushing touchdowns.

Marcus Mariota was 16-for-23, 239 yards and a touchdown to Byron Marshall. Meanwhile Royce Freeman has scored three times with runs of 38, three and one yards that put the Ducks firmly in control of the game. Freeman is the leading rusher for the contest with 81 yards on 13 carries.

Washington scoring consisted of two field goals of 33 and 40 yards by Cameron Van Winkle.

Cyler Miles is 13-for-19 for 98 yards and was intercepted by Erick Dargan in a turnover that led to Oregon’s last touchdown.

Oregon has 380 yards of total offense to Washington’s 125.
