Freeman Drives and Ducks Crush Huskies

After a convincing win in Pasadena, the Ducks returned to Autzen where they smothered the Huskies on Saturday. Behind the strong running by Royce Freeman and key compilations by Marcus Mariota, Pharoah Brown, and Darren Carrington, Oregon again dominated on offense. Defensively, the linebackers and secondary improved coverage, pursuit, and tackling to effectively contain any Washington threat.

Oregon once again put together a strong game on both sides of the ball and continued the momentum that began in Pasadena. Royce Freeman had an impressive performance scoring four touchdowns, and Marcus Mariota connected with a host of Duck receivers to press the offensive effort. Once again, Joe Walker had solid play at linebacker, and the Duck defense improved play on the line and in the secondary. They need to keep the drive going as they head to Levi Stadium to take on the Cal Bears next Friday, as the road continues...
