Ducks Head Out to Take on Cal

Oregon heads to drought-stricken California to face the Bears and their potentially potent offense. The Ducks have strung together two balanced and convincing wins on the road and at home, with momentum building. Passing, running, and improved defense were key to the thorough thrashing of UCLA and Washington. Keeping the pressure on California is the next item on the Ducks' agenda.

Last year's game against Cal was in arguably the worst weather in recent history, at home where it (almost) never rains in Autzen Stadium. The game was memorable for the rain and ankle roll injury to DAT, which affected the offense for the rest of the season. Byron Marshall and the rest of the Ducks stepped up and sloshed around as the night wore on, with Oregon handily taming the Bears. The trip to Levi Stadium this Friday may not be their last visit to San Jose this season, though they have to maintain the pressure on defense, and keep up the variety on offense to win the day...
