Ducks Hold 24-13 Lead at Halftime

EUGENE – No. 5 Oregon holds a 24-13 lead at the half over Stanford, by controlling the ball on the ground with 180 yards of rushing. Quarterback Marcus Mariota was 11-for-20 and 132 yards and one TD pass.

Marcus Mariota was the leading rusher with 78 yards on eight carries and a touchdown while Royce Freeman has 59 yards on 11 carries. Thomas Tyner returned to the line-up after missing the California game last week and responded with 43 yards on eight carries and a touchdown.

Aidan Schneider had a 40-yard field goal in the second quarter.

Stanford’s scoring consisted of two Jordan Williamson field goals (47 and 43 yards) and a one yard TD plunge by Patrick Skov

Stanford’s Kevin Hogan is 14-for-18 and 171 yards.

For the game Oregon has a total 321 yards to Stanford’s 214 (43 yards rushing 171 yards passing).
