Final Farewell to Ducks' 2015 Offense

Oregon's offense put up gaudy numbers all season, but came up short against the powerful Ohio State defense. In what was to be Marcus Mariota's final appearance as a Duck, the loss of receivers, struggles with opening holes, and a crushing show of force by Ohio State on both sides of the line dampened and hampered the Oregon assault. Next year's QB is a focus as the Ducks reorganize for 2015.

This year's season showed off much of what the Ducks are about, especially the intangibles that aren't readily apparent from statistics in any game or across the season. Leadership by Marcus Mariota and seniors Keanon Lowe and Hroniss Grasu provided cement that kept this team rolling despite injuries and stumbles right up to the National Championship game. This was a team that Duck fans and players can be proud of, and set the stage for the future. In the end the Oregon fans kept their heads up, as did the team.
