Capra to visit Oregon this week

Auburn (Calif.) Placer offensive tackle Jacob Capra knows where he's visiting next. Find out what he wants to see on his unofficial visit to Oregon.

Over a month after picking up an offer from the University of Oregon, Auburn (Calif.) Placer offensive tackle Jacob Capra is making his way to Eugene.

The 6-foot-5, 275-pound three-star prospect informed on Tuesday evening that he will take an unofficial visit tomorrow as part of a busy week that will be capped off with weekend visits to USC and UCLA. While at Oregon, Capra has a couple of things he wants to check out including what they offer off the field.

"I come from a very academic family so an education that will set me up for years beyond football is something," Capra said via text message. "And the athletic facilities! It's the Ducks!"

Since picking up his offer Capra indicated that his relationship with offensive line coach Steve Greatwood has been progressing steadily.

"Greatwood is a great coach," he said. "I get along great with him! I'll see his coaching style tomorrow."
