Horton's Toss Costs Him a Seat for Two Games

Oregon baseball coach George Horton will have to catch Oregon's next two games on television for continuing to argue with an umpire after being ejected. Horton was tossed from last Sunday's game against USC. Horton got the heave-ho when he came to the defense of Scott Heineman who was also ejected. from a game for becoming to vocal with an umpire. Heineman was called out on a check swing.

Scott Heineman will miss Friday's game of this weekend's three-game series at PK Park against Washington. Heineman took issue was tossed in the USC game in the eighth inning after being called out on a check swing. Horton came out to argue the umpire's decision but got into further hotwater when he continued his harrange after he was also ejected.

According to media release from the University of Oregon Athletic Department both suspensions are automatic and neither has an appeals process.
