Kramer planing post-season visits

Already engaged in fall camp, Layton (Utah) Northridge defensive tackle Noah Kramer is prepping for a big senior season that could net him even more exposure before signing day in February. Here, he talks about his goals for his senior season and which program has been staying on him over the summer

Noah Kramer has been working hard on improving his game over the summer and is ready to see if it pays off on the gridiron this fall. While he's sure to leave an impact against opponents, the big 6-foot-2.5, 300-pound Northridge defensive tackle told eDuck that there is a specific thing he wants to accomplish when it comes to leaving an impact with his teammates.

“Set an example,” he said. “On and off the field. It’s senior year. Make the best of it and just enjoy my time in high school.”

Kramer isn't worried so much about recruiting, especially with the season fast approaching. In fact, he hasn't planned out any official visits yet.

“I’m going to wait until after the season so that I actually a little bit of time to come down from everything and not really have to worry or stress out about school and practices and all that,” he said.

Despite the fact that he's taking it easy on the recruiting front, that hasn't stopped one program from continuing to keep tabs on him.

“The number one school that’s been on me, been supporting me and been contacting me every opportunity they get is Oregon,” he said.

Kramer camped with the Ducks over the summer and while he did not leave with an offer, he did receive some positive feedback from the coaching staff.

“I did a really great job down there they said,” he said. “They said that they liked me before, but now they’re lovin’ me.”

Because of the feedback and the progress he's made since, he believes that an offer could come sometime during the season.

“I feel like I’m in a great position to get an offer from Oregon right now,”he said. “I’ve just got to really focus on the season and just really apply myself and stay dedicated, stay hardworking and just get this ball rolling.”
