Could Crawford commit soon?

Santa Margarita (Calif.) wide receiver Dylan Crawford has three officials that he's eyeing but he plans on taking all five. See where he's planning to visit and if he plans on committing early.

With the recent de-commitment of four-star wide receiver Theo Howard, there's been questions as to who the Oregon Ducks may pursue if Howard decides to ultimately commit elsewhere. One player they've expressed interest in in the past is Santa Margarita (Calif.) four-star prospect Dylan Crawford.

Although he does not currently have an offer, he talked about his relationship with Oregon at the moment with eDuck.com on Wednesday.

"I haven't really heard a lot from him lately but I know they asked my academic advisor for my transcript so I don't know what that means," he said. "But I think they're looking more into me right now."

Crawford, who has visited Oregon, said he has talked plenty with wide receivers coach Matt Lubick in the past and it's possible that if an offer materializes that the Ducks could get one of his official visit spots.

Right now Crawford is looking at three dates in October for official visits: Tennessee on Oct. 10, Michigan on Oct. 17 and Miami (Fla.) on Oct. 24. Those dates aren't set in stone, but those programs appear to be the ones that have the best shots at visits right now.

"Right now I'm still open to everybody," he said. "I mean, a commitment could come soon but I'd still probably be open to other schools."

Interestingly enough, Crawford said that even if he does commit early that he still plans on taking all five of his visits to make sure he's picked the right program. Miami, Michigan, Washington and Nebraska are the programs pushing hardest for him at the moment and one in particular seems to be establishing more of a presence than the others.

"I don't have a top school right now," he said. "But I'd definitely say I have the best relationship with Washington right now."
