Despite two turnovers, Oregon still within striking range against Michigan Sate

Oregon scored on its first drive on a 2-yard run by Royce Freeman, but two costly turnovers and poor punting allowed Michigan State to take a 14-7 lead into the lockerroom. MSU's Connor Cook threw touchdowns and the MSU defense held Oregon out of the endzone from a yard out.

Oregon's Vernon Adams, playing with gloves, threw for 173 yards but gave up two interceptions. Charles Nelson has seven receptions for 79 yards. Royce Freeman has 40 yards on 13 carries and a touchdown.

Connor Cook had 91 yards and two TDs. The first to Josiah Price for 12 yards and then in the second quarter Cook hit Aaron Burbridge for 17 yards.

Overall Oregon has 216 yards of total offense while MSU has 182.

MSU will recieve the kickoff to start the second half.
