Last year the Utah defense front had 55 sacks for the year or 4.23 per game. So far this season, the Utes have just three or one sack per game. With this lack of production, Utah fans are a bit uneasy and considering that Utah is visiting Oregon and Autzen Stadium, a place known as a tough place for visiting teams to play, likely things won't get much better. While the Duck defense has struggled, the Oregon offense is carrying on in the way many people think they have over the past several years.
Oregon is averaging 50 points per game, gaining 567.3 yards per game and have score a total of 16 touchdowns on the offense.
Vernon Adams likely will start against the Utes and he is averaging 277.5 ypg passing and has rushed for 100 net yards.
If Utah is unable to put pressure on Adams then it will be a long day for the Utes. If they can put pressure on Oregon and keep them the Ducks from scoring at will, then they have a chance.
Kickoff for Saturday's Oregon-Utah game is 5:30 p.m. (Pacific) and the game will be carried on Fox.
