Oregon must avenge its loss to Utah with a win over Colorado

The Oregon Ducks (2-2) seeks to redeem its honor this Saturday on the road against the Colorado Buffaloes (3-1). The Ducks reeling from one of the worse losses in school history last week against Utah, must play the best game of the year in a game that prior to the season was just an after-thought.

For four straight seasons the Oregon had its way with Colorado but this year the tables are turned. The Ducks have yet to find a solution to their defensive woes and Oregon's Mark Helfrich has adopted a now catch phrase to replace Win The Day -- Do Your Job!

Oregon's woes last week were more than on defense. The offense struggled also and this week starting quarterback Vernon Adams may not be in the line up. On Monday, offensive coordinator Scott Frost said that Adams will take the field when he is ready to go. That likely means back up Jeff Lockie and walk on Taylor Alie may get the call. Lockie led one scoring drive last week but when Utah found solutions to what Lockie presented Oregon struggled and Lockie was intercepted twice.

Alie has seen playing time this season and has an 82-yard touchdown run the highlight his play.

The game is scheduled to kickoff at 7 p.m. Pacific and will carried on ESPN.
