Oregon vs. Arizona State preview for offense.

Oregon (4-3, 2-2) meets Arizona State (4-3, 2-2) on Thursday night at Sun Devil Stadium. Scout publishers, Chris Karpman and Steve Summers take a look at the two offenses in the first part of the game preview.

Oregon’s Vernon Adams returned to action against Washington and hit two touchdown passes to Darren Carrington in Oregon’s 26-20 win at Husky Stadium. Adams is 57-for-96 for 853 yards, with six touchdowns and two interceptions averaging 213.2 ypg and hitting 59.4 percent of his passes in four games. If he had played enough games, his statistics would rank fifth in the conference in passing percentage.

Darren Carrington, missed the first six game of the year because a violation of the NCAA Drug Testing policy, but returned to face Washington and pulled in both of Adams’ TD passes and ended up the top receiver for the game with 125 yards receiving on five catches.

Royce Freeman has rushed for 142.4 ypg, scoring nine touchdowns. Freeman is the conference top rusher for the year and needs just three more yards to go over the 1,000-yard mark (997).

Mike Bercovici, has played in seven games this year and is 160-for-273, for 1968 yards (263.7 ypg), 14 TDs and five interceptions.

D.J. Foster is the Sun Devils leading receiver with 32 catches for 278 yards and three TDs.

DeMario Richard is the leading rusher for ASU with 101 carries for 529 net yards, four TDs and averaging 88.2 ypg.

Oregon is averaging 39.3 ppg, rushing for 297.4 ypg and passing for 218.9.

ASU averages 29.1 ppg, rushing for 156.0 ypg and passing for 263.7.
