Oregon's defense must play its best game of the season while the ASU defense needs to keep doing what they've done all year long.

Oregon takes on Arizona State this Thursday night in a 7:30 p.m. (Pacific) game to be carried on ESPN. Oregon beat Washington, 26-20 in its last outing while ASU lost to Utah, 34-18 on the same night.

ASU is fifth in the conference in points allowed at 27.3 ppg, while Oregon is dead last giving up 36 points a game.  The Sun Devils also allowing 380.9 ypg including a stingy 129.3 ypg rushing.

Oregon on the other hand is allowing 461.9 ypg, and is most deficient in pass yards allowed at 306.6 ypg.

Ironically, the two teams are first and second in sacks. ASU has 24 sacks while Oregon has 21. Oregon also has a better turnover-to-take-away margin, 0.4 to minus .57.

The game will be carried live from Sun Devil Stadium by ESPN staring at approximately 7:30 p.m. (Pacfic).
