2017 Quarterback Makes Early Commitment to Oregon

The Oregon Ducks picked up the second verbal commitment for the 2017 football recruiting class when quarterback Ryan Kelley made the announcement that he had decided upon Oregon. Kelley, 6-2, 170, Basha HS, Chandler, Ariz., chose Oregon over 11 other offers.

Kelley, said that the timing of the announcement "felt right" and that he "loved" everything about Oregon including the academics, the town of Eugene and the football team.

Other programs that offered Kelley a scholarship were Arizona State, California, Michigan State, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oregon State, San Diego State, Texas A&M, UCLA, Washington and Washington State.
