Ducks finish non-conference portion of the season 10-2

Oregon hosted Western Oregon University to close out the non-conference schedule, finishing strong with an 88-60 win. After an early letdown, the Ducks rose up in the second half to crush the previously undefeated Wolves.

The Ducks come out briskly and established a 19-point margin before sagging and allowing the Wolves to come within four points at the half.


By the middle of the second half, Oregon regained its focus and force, stretching out to cruise to a 28-point win.


Tuesday’s game saw the return of Dylan Ennis, who showed command presence on the court during his limited action.


Tyler Dorsey led all shooters with 25 points, while the Ducks out-rebounded the Wolves 49-29.


Elgin Cook added 19 points to his seven rebounds, with Dillon Brooks putting up 13.


Coach Dana Altman was at a bit of a loss to explain the letdown, and acknowledged that the team will continue as a work in progress, as the prepare to open conference play on Sunday at Oregon State.
