On July 11th, Broadus told eDuck Sports that he had passed his SAT test, but was told he would have to retake the test. However, his mother indicated today (July 29, 2003) that the scores were not now in question. She did not know what caused his scores to be questioned. She did not elaborate on the incident. Lance was not available for comment.
"They're fine," said Broadus' mother. "He'll be reporting in next week."
TheInsiders.com rated Broadus 3-stars as a linebacker. He led his team to the CIF Los Angeles City Section final with a 13-1 record. His senior season Broadus recorded 94 tackles and 3 interceptions after being honored 1st Team All-State Underclass as a junior. He has been timed at 4.5 seconds in the 40-yard dash.
Camp for the Ducks starts next week. Media Day is scheduled for August 5th.
Broadus is a Duck.
