Scout 300 OT Erik Swenson Back on the Market. Could Oregon be Interested?

Downers Grove (Ill.) South offensive tackle Erik Swenson is no longer a Michigan commit. What happens next?

Erik Swenson made it public that he would not be playing his college football at Michigan on Wednesday/

"I would like to thank the University of Michigan community for the love and support," he posted on his Twitter account. "As you know, I have been committed to Michigan since November 2013, and it was my full intention to play in front of you all in the Big House. God has another plan. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I am reopening my recruitment."

Swenson told Nick Baumgardner of Mlive that Michigan pulled his scholarship and cancelled his official visit.

Northwestern, Nebraska, Iowa State, Iowa and Minnesota are among the possibilities for him moving forward, although there are likely to be other programs who reach out.

Swenson began receiving college offers as early as his freshman year.  He was an All-State selection as a senior. He was recruited to Michigan by new Oregon DC Brady Hoke.
