Oregon knocks off Duke 82-68 to advance to Elite-8

Oregon’s Jordan Bell had a homecoming and coming out party all on the same night. The Long Beach, California native grew up about 25 miles from where his team, the Oregon Ducks put away the Duke Blue Devils, 82-68 in a game that will have lots of people nationally talking about what a player Bell is.

Bell had a big night against the Blue Devils by scoring 13 points, hauling down seven rebounds and protecting the rim by blocking three shots and establishing the defensive territory that Duke could not break all night.

The win propels Oregon into the Elite-8 on Saturday against Oklahoma and a win there means a trip to Houston for the Final-4, something the Ducks, who were picked fourth in the Pac-12 before the start of the season dreamed about, but now have a real chance of making that dream come true.

The Oregon-Oklahoma game will be this Saturday at 3:09 Pacific.
