Plenty of questions surround the Ducks, Dakota Prukop will be the quarterback but who will snap him the ball?

The Oregon Ducks released an updated spring roster on Sunday night as the Ducks prepare the start spring workouts on Tuesday. A total of 101 players are included on the roster consisting of scholarship athletes and walk-ons. Nine of the players are from the 2016 recruiting class that executed financial aid agreements and have been in school either since the winter term or the start of spring term on Monday.

There are few surprises on the roster. One notable exception was moving junior Elijah George from the offensive line to the defensive unit. George has been considered a top athlete but had been hampered by injury, limiting his role on the team. Interestingly, George also has put on 20 pounds and now stands 6-5, weighing 295 pounds.

Junior Charles Nelson the versatile athlete that has played both on offense and defense is now listed as a wide receiver. Sophomore Kirk Merritt is also listed as a wide receiver while redshirt freshman Malik Lovette is now a defensive back.

The roster of is identical to the official roster in terms of weights, height and jersey numbers.

Officially, the Ducks are running a spread option offense and 4-3 defense.

Spring practice sessions start on Tuesday, March 29.

The tentative schedule is: March 29, 30, April 1, 4, 6, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 25, 27 and April 30 for the annual spring game at Autzen Stadium with an 11 a.m. start time.
