Oregon completed spring workouts on April 30 by playing the annual spring game.

The Oregon Ducks completed spring workouts for 2016 on Saturday, April 30, by playing the annual spring game. Over 35,000 fans were in attendance on a clear but cool day. The Ducks were split into two squads, Mighty Oregon, led by senior graduate Dakota Prukop and Webfoots, led by redshirt freshman Travis Jonsen.

The game was the first chance for fans to see the new defense devised by defensive coordinator @Brady Hoke. The score at halftime reflected the aggressive, challenging defensive style that fans may see next season as Mighty Oregon held a slim 7-6 lead.

In the second half the offense came alive as Prukop found Dillon Mitchell for a second touchdown for the day. Mitchell finished with seven catches for 104 yards receiving.

Jonsen hit Darren Carrington for a 52-yard touchdown pass play.

Running back Kani Benoit rushed for 104 yards and had a touchdown. Tony Brooks-James had 75 yards for the day running the ball.

The game also saw the return of Pharaoh Brown and a pass reception by Tyrell Crosby.

The final score was 21-20 but after the game, the coaches indicated there was still a lot of work to do as the Ducks enter the off-season and approach fall camp in August.
