Air Academy Lineman commits to Ducks.

Jeff Kendall, 6-4, 275, 4.95, offensive lineman from Air Academy HS (Colorado) committed verbally to the University of Oregon. TheInsiders' Greg Biggins was able to confirm the verbal commitment today when he talked to Jeff.

"I'm real excited about my decision," Kendall said. "The Senior Day was great and answered all my questions. I've always wanted to play in the Pac-10 and I felt real close with their offensive line coach (Neal Zamboukos).

Kendall visited Oregon last week (August 7th) and was swept away with the facilities and campus.

"We drove out to Oregon yesterday, and they offered me a scholarship," Jeff told Josh Clark of TheInsiders. "The facility's are incomparable to anything I've ever seen. The coaching staff was great and the environment in Eugene was unbelievable."

The Air Force Academy and Colorado State also offered Kendall a scholarship. Jeff is rated 3-Stars by TheInsiders.

Kendall is the third Oregon verbal commitment. David Faaeteete, 6-3, 265, 4.8, 4-Stars, defensive tackle committed on May 12th. Jacob Hucko, 6-7, 280, 5.1, 3-Stars, offensive tackle committed on August 7th. Oregon clearly is making big men a priority in recruiting this year. The Ducks will graduate two players off the offensive line and have four juniors that will see considerable playing time from the current roster.

The Ducks will open their season by travelling to Starkville, Ms on August 30th to face Mississippi State.
