Former Baylor quarterback Jarrett Stidham has decided to transfer but his destination is yet unknown.

Quarterback Jarrett Stidham has decided to escape the mess at Baylor and transfer. While his final destination is not known, Campus Insiders speculates that Oregon could be the right fit for the talented signal caller.

Stidham at one time was an Oregon recruiting target and some felt the Ducks had an inside track for his services. However the former 5-star recruit, was initially a Texas Tech commit before dropping the Red Raiders in favor of the Bears. Were the Ducks ever really a serious contender as a destination for Stidham, probably not and if what we are hearing from some sources, Stidham will go to a junior college and then eventually land at another program in Texas, his home state.

One never knows what goes on in conversations between coaches and players looking for a new home, but Oregon has two very talented young quarterbacks in Travis Jonsen and Terry Wilson so while the addition of Stidham would be nice for depth it seems a bit far fetched that he'll ever wear the green and yellow of Oregon -- or whatever the combination the Ducks have on at the moment.
