Oregon has some of the best special teams in the country but there are questions.

When a team has someone like Charles Nelson returning kicks and punts, it has the the ability to use the special teams as a scoring weapon. Add to that, the field goal kicker in the conference in Aidan Schneider, then Oregon will be in great shape, however there are some questions about some of the special teams units and Richard and Steve talk about that in the segment of the 2-Deep examination.

The stars, Charles Nelson, the kickoff and punt return specialist. Aidan Schneider and Matt Wogan are three of the top special teams performers in the country.

Schnieder was 22-of-24 in field goal kicking last year with a long of 47 yards. Wogan had 98 kickoffs in 2015 with 62 touchbacks and no out of bounds kicks.

Punter Ian Wheeler had three punts blocked a year ago, but averaged just under 40 yards at 39.86 ypp, with a long of 57.

Nelson fielded one kickoff going 100-yards for a TD in 2015, of course he was also playing defensive safety, wide receiver and some running back. He didn't have a punt returns but in his freshman year in 2014 he returned two punts for touchdowns/

Yeah, he's pretty good alright.
