Taj Griffin is one of the most explosive players in college football.

There is no doubt that Taj Griffin is ready for the first game of the season against Cal-Davis on Saturday, Sept. 3, at Autzen Stadium with kickoff set for 2 p.m. in a game that will be carried on the Pac-12 Networks.

To be honest though, Taj Griffin and his teammates aren't really going to be in for much of a contest.

Cal-Davis is a FCS team from the Big Sky Conference and it should be a cake-walk for Griffin and the Oregon Ducks.

How much Griffin plays on Saturday remains to be seen but likely he'll get at least one quarter of work in and maybe more. One of the problems of having such riches in depth at the running back position, is there are four backs, all capable of scoring everytime they touch the ball, and there is only four quarters to play -- and this is against a very week opponent.

In the interview, eDuck asked Griffin of what he thought of the young offensive line, particularly of the redshirt freshman who have impressed him  Without hesitation he said "Jake Hanson."

What will be interesting to see, if Griffin can score on a long run in this game.
