Ducks start Colorado week

The Oregon defense is not handing out excuses and were not satsified with its performance last Saturday in Nebraska. There were too many mistakes, including pass interference calls that allowed Nebraska to keep drives alive and score. This week the Ducks can redeem themselves against Colorado on Saturday, in the Ducks' Pac-12 opener at Autzen Stadium.

Arrion Springs has become the leader of the Duck secondary. Last week, he had five tackles (three solos) and a fumble recovery that he nearly went the distance to score a touchdown but was tripped up.The Ducks managed to score after the turnover but Oregon has yet to score a defensive touchdown this season.

Spring spoke to media following practice on Monday.
