With two significant season ending injuries suffered in the Nebraska game, the Ducks limp forward.

The Oregon Ducks lost two starters for the season and the marquee player for an indefinite time last week in Nebraska, but today Mark Helfrich address those losses and looked ahead as the Ducks limp their way towards a show down with Colorado on Saturday at Autzen Stadium..

Helfrich spoke about the losses of Devon Allen and Tyrell Crosby for the year and also responded to a question about  Royce Freeman by saying Freeman was looking better today and he (Helfrich) was hopeful the star running back will be at full strength for the Buffaloes.

“What were the odds?” Helfrich hypothetically asked, that Allen could suffer another similar injury as he did in the Rose Bowl two years ago. The headman also indicated that Allen was apologetic for getting injured and that the speedy receiver was the first man at practice today, even if he was unable to participate.
