Jake Hanson answers questions about the Oregon offensive now that Tyrell Crosby is lost for the season.

No loss of a starter is expected or easily overlooked, howver the loss of junior left tackle Tyrell Crosby is being looked at by the rest of his teammates as a rallying call. On Tuesday, redshirt freshman starting center Jake Hanson spoke to reporters and was optimistic about how the Ducks will replace Crosby, a player considered to be Oregon's best lineman.

Hanson feels that the Oregon offensive line must and will take up the slack caused by the loss of such an important player as Crosby. Even though the Ducks lost last Saturday. the young Oregon offensive line manned notably by Hanson, senior Cam Hunt, redhsirt fresman Shane Lemieux, redshirt freshman Calvin Throckmorton and redshirt freshman Brady Aiello along with guys like junior Evan Voeller, junior Jake Pisarcik, senior Zac Morgan and sophomore Doug Brenner have their work cut out for them, but they can get the job done.

This week at Autzen Stadium, Oregon opens its Pac-12 season with a game against Colorado. Last week against Nebraska, the young offensive line, even only having Crosby for a half, still managed to open holes for a running game that produced 336 yards of net rushing.

The game on Saturday starts at 2:30 p.m. when the ball is place on the tee and kicked off.

The Pac-12 Networks will carry the game live.
