Oregon prepares for WSU

On Thursday morning, Oregon defensive coordinator answered media questions about Washington State's offense as the Ducks prepare to meet the Cougars on Saturday at Martin Stadium.

Washington State is fifth in the conference in scoring offense (42.0 ppg) while Oregon is sixth at 41.8. WSU is eighth in points allowed at 27.3 while the Ducks are tenth at 32.5. The Cougars are fourth in the Pac-12 in total offense at 514.7 ypg will UO is second at 536.0.

Oregon is the top rushing offense at 275.8 ypg but WSU is eleventh at 121.7. Known as the Air Raid offense, WSU has thrown and incredible 167 passes in three game (completing 123) for a 393.0 ypg average while UO has thrown 117 passes completing 71 for 260.2 ypg average.

Oregon is ranked ninth in the conference in total defense allowed at 450.2 (192.5 rushing 257.8 passing) while Washington State is eighth in the conference at 427.7 (103.0 rushing 324.7 passing).
