WSU holds 28-14 halftime lead

PULLMAN, WASH. – Ineptness both on offense and defense, Oregon finds itself in a 28-14 at the half. Oregon’s defense can be generously described as Swiss cheese, couldn’t tackle or cover while the offense showed some promise on early scoring drives but as the second quarter wore on, the Duck offense wore out.

Royce Freeman after rushing for both Oregon touchdowns and gaining 49 yards, left the game, though does not appear to be injured on the sidelines.

Dakota Prukop threw for 103 yards but the real story is Washington State’s offense that has put up 279 yards of total offense including 198 yards of passing and 81 yards of rushing.

Quarterback Luke Falk has thrown a TD pass to Gabe Marks while Gerard Wicks rushed for two TDs and Erik Marshall for the third rushing TD.

Oregon has a total of 207 yards of offense.

WSU will receive the kickoff when the third quarter begins.
