Oregon losing to California in a Friday night game

BERKELEY, CALIF. – The Oregon Ducks hoped having two weeks off would give them some chance at breaking a four-game win streak but at the half, it is business as usual for an inept Oregon defense as the Cal Bears lead 31-14.

California’s Davis Webb has thrown for 149 yards and four touchdowns while Bear offense has racked up 171 yards of rushing. Cal also booted a 37-yard field goal by Matt Anderson.

Oregon has a total of 171 yards of total offense to Cal’s 320 yards. Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert has thrown for 91 yards and a touchdown to Pharaoh Brown covering 27 yards. Tony Brooks-James has rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown.

Oregon has been penalized six times for a minus 69 yards to Cal’s five flags for minus 55 yards.

Cal will have the ball to start the third quarter.
