Oregon prepares for USC

There has been improvement according to Don Pellum, but now the Oregon Ducks must face a very tough opponent in the USC Trojans on Satruday in a game that will be carried on ESPN with kickoff slated for 4 p.m. Pacific.

Pellum thinks the team showed that the coaching has started to set in but admits the LA Coliseum is a very difficult place to play regardless of what the records are. USC is still in the hunt for winning the Pac-12 South and have a big game against Washington next week. In order for the Trojans to keep their hopes alive a win over Oregon is essential.

Pellum was also asked about recruiting against USC in Southern California, and if he (Pellum) considers it a coup anytime the Ducks can pull a recruit out of the LA area away from the Trojans. Surpringly, Pellum did not think so and reasons that the Ducks recruit all over the country and face competition everywhere they recruit.

The questions and answers to Pellum came after the Ducks concluded practice on Tuesday.
