Oregon prepares for Utah

With the loss of Austin Moloata Drayton Carlberg and Canton Kaumatule, the Oregon Ducks find themselves in an even deeper hole headed into the game with Utah. Senior defensive linemen T.J. Daniel responds to media about the shortages up front, after practice on Tuesday.

It's bad enough that the Oregon Ducks have a losing season record and will not have a chance to go to a bowl game. Oregon, after a season of disappointments now heads into one of the toughest places to play this year -- Utah, scrambling for big bodies on the defensive line.

T.J. Daniel responded to the question of depth and said that it now is up to the Ducks to step up.

While it might be a little late to do anything about the season, Oregon can show a measure of pride by playing hard and smart.

Whether that will have any bearing on the outcome of the game remains to be seen, but at this point any ray of hope this unit can generate will only be positive.
