Oregon wins 76-54

Following Oregon 76-54 win over Valaparasio on Thursday night, guard Payton Pritchard was on the podium in the post-game media conference. Pritchard played 28 minutes, the second most for the squad behind Chris Boucher, who was on the floor for 31 minutes. Pritchard finished the night with nine points and five assists. Boucher was the leading scoring for the game with 25.

"It felt good, just to bounce back after kind of an embarrassing loss," said Pritchard of the win over Valpo. "We didn't play well at all on Tuesday, so we really had to come together and fight this one out and show that we're a tougher team than that."

Pritchard added a necessary spark to the team, especially after a slow start and in the second half, the freshman was very steady in his ball handling and setting up plays.

Oregon is now 2-1 for the season and next play on Monday, Nov. 21, in the Maui Invitational against Georgetown with tipoff scheduled for 1:30 Pacific in a game that will be carried on ESPN2.
