Another new offer out for a defensive lineman.

Jordon Scott, 6-1, 350, Pinellas HS, Largo, Fla., is a 3-star player (as rated by Scout.com) and recently has been in lots of contact with the Oregon Ducks.

"Yes me and coach (Jim) Leavitt talk everyday," Scott told eDuck.com.

Leavitt of course was just hired last week by new Oregon head coach Willie Taggart.

While things have been moving a very fast pace for the Ducks and for Scott, an offer came last Friday but no official visit has been set up.

"I don't have an official set up," said Scott of a possible cross-country trip to Eugene. "Coach Leavitt and Coach Taggart offered me Friday (Dec. 16.)"

With the departure of Wayne Tei-Kirby to BYU, the Ducks are thinning out at defensive tackle and the recruitment of Scott makes for an intriguing prospect.

As of now Scott is willing to playing anywhere on the defensive line and does not have a top-5 favorite list.
