New Oregon staff moving quickly to fill 2017 recruiting class.

On Dec. 18, was in contact with 4-Star OLB Teradja Mitchell,  6-2, 237, and asked him if he had an offer from Oregon.

Mitchell responded back indicating that he hadn’t been in contact with either Head Coach Willie Taggart or Defensive Coordinator Jim Leavitt, but he did say he had an offer.

“I haven’t been in contact with any of the staff yet,” replied Mitchell to the question about whether he an offer from the Ducks. “Coach David Kelly though offered about four hours ago.”

Mitchell went on to say that no visit date has been set up but he does plan to make a visit. The 4-star OLB from Bishop Sullivan HS in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is Scout’s No. 2 ranked outside linebacker nationally.

The bluechipper has 28 offers from programs all over the country and this recent development is an interesting twist to his recruiting story.
