Miami Carrol City HS safety gets Oregon offer

A new name popped up showing interest in the Oregon Ducks. Safety Naytron Culpepper, 6-1, 175 from Miami Carol City HS received an offer from the Ducks on Thursday, Dec. 22/

“Yes I have and the new DC, Coach (Jim) Leavitt (talked) early this week,” Culpepper told on Thursday. “Very interested since a kid; I've loved Oregon and the uniforms.”

Culpepper sees himself as a corner.

While lists Oregon as a program that Culpepper has “low” interest in, Culpepper said he is planning on setting up an official visit.

The other programs that Scout lists for Culpepper’s top-5 include Maryland, Indiana, Michigan State and Mississippi State.

Culpepper is rated 3-stars by and is the No.80 player nationally at his position.
