One of the hottest properties in national recruiting picks up Christmas Day offer.

Wide receiver Joshua Moore, 6-2, 173, 4.44, Yoakum HS, Yoakum, Texas tells eDuck.com that he received a great Christmas gift when the Oregon Ducks made him an offer to play football in Eugene. Moorei is a member of the class of 2018.

"I have had contact with the new coaching staff," said Moore of the Oregon Ducks. "The first time was actually last night. I woke up this morning with a text from Coach (David) Kelly saying that they wanted to offer me a full ride scholarship to attend the University of Oregon. My offer is official."

Moore went on to say that in speaking with Kelly, that the phone was handed to coach Willie Taggart, and the Oregon head coach made the offer official.

While Moore has not yet set up a visit to Eugene is definitely planning to take the official visit. Oregon has always been on Moore's mind.

"My interest in Oregon is very high," admits Moore. "It is one of the those teams I grew up watching."

While Moore doesn't have a top-5 list right now with this latest offer, that could change.

He sees himself being able to play on both sides of the ball in college. Scout.com has him listed as the No. 138 football player for the class of 2018. He is rated 4-stars and is the No. 123 wide receivers nationally.
