Dillon Brooks

On hitting the game-winning shot

“It felt really good, but you know we’ve got to celebrate it for now, and then move on the another undefeated team, USC.”

On getting behind in the second half

“We still have to keep going, we have to keep on fighting, and we did. We show a lot heart and we show a lot of teams that you we’re going to fight from first 20 minutes to the last 20 minutes.”

On working his way back into the starting lineup

“It was frustrating, especially as a freshman starting, and then you can’t control a lot of things. But my teammates kept me positive and coach kept me positive. I just have to give it to my teammates for never giving up on me.”

Payton Pritchard

On how he feels about the crowd and the game

“It’s definitely one of the best games I’ve been a part of. Just watching Dillon (Brooks) hit that last shot; when you work as hard as Dillon does, great things happen like that.”

On if today was their best game as a team

“Oh, for sure. As a group, we think we’re ranked there as a top two team, too. We prepared three days before this. Everything was so focused.”
