Another blue chipper from Florida shows interest in the Ducks.

Cornerback LaTavious Brini, 6-2, 180 is a 4-star player at his position (as rated by, Matar Academy HS, Hialeah Gardens, Fla., has a new suiter, one that he is highly interested in.

“I got a text from Coach David Kelly on January, 1, 2016," said Brini, "And it read they wanted to offer me."


Oregon is suddenly in Brini's recruiting picture and he has already set up an official visit on the weekend of January 27, 2017.


Has he ever been to the West Coast, and how big of a factor is distance for him and his family?


“No sir,” responded Brini to the question regarding if he has ever been on the West Coast. “Distance is big, but sometimes in your life you're going to be by yourself.


While Brini doesn't have a top-5, he is "very interested" in Oregon,


Brini see himself playing cornerbck, and he likes everything about being a CB, plus he believes he would have to be one of the best athlete on the defense.


Interestingly, he became interested in Oregon when the Ducks played Cam Newton and Auburn.

Brini’s father likely will accompany him on his trip to Eugene.
