Gary Johnson

Q: Have you heard from Oregon? Do you have an official visit to Eugene set up?

GJ: Yes Sir, I talked to Coach Jim Leavitt, and its January 13th.

Q: Who was the last school to offer, and how many offers do you currently hold?

GJ: Yes, Coach Leavitt offered, Oregon was the last school to offer, and I have 30+ offers.

Q: Have you been to Oregon or West Coast before? How big a factor is distance for you and your family?

GJ: No Sir, not at all; distance isn't a factor for me or my family when it comes to doing what you love to do.

Q: What is about Coach Leavitt, and Oregon that interested you?

GJ: Well, Coach Leavitt recruited me when he was at CU just would have been harder to get into CU, so I didn't have much interest, but with him at Oregon and their depth I want to check it out.

Q: What position do you think you will play at the next level?

GJ: Safety (at the NFL level)

Q: What is your current height and weight? What weight would you like to play at?

GJ: 6-1 210, I would like to get to 225-230.;

Q: Do you have a list of your top school? How interested are you in Oregon?

GJ: I don't have a top school. I have a list of the only five schools I'm talking to, and visiting. I have already visited one, ASU. I just want to take all four of my final visits and see if it feels like home when I'm there.

 Q What visits are set?

GJ: I have Oregon 13th, 20th Texas, Jan. 27, USC, Louisville after that.
