Elijah Blades has given a verbal commitment to Florida, but with Oregon's offer, will things change?

Elijah Blades, 6-3, 170, is a 4-star defensive back out of Muir HS, in Pasadena, Calif., and made a verbal commitment to Florida, but is the U.S. Army All-American having second thoughts? According to Scout's Greg Biggins, Blades is now considered a "soft" verbal because he is planning to make visits to other programs. Is Oregon now in the running for this talented young man's services?

According to Biggins, Blades has received an offer from Oregon and is planning on taking an official visit to Eugene.

Blades is currently participating in game week preparation for the U.S. Army All-America Game, in San Antonio Texas.

The big defensive back committed to Florida last summer, but that commitment didn't seem to be so solid as Blade continue to visit other programs including Utah (9/10) and has a visit scheduled with USC on January 20.

Now with Willie Taggart at Oregon, an offer has been extended and Blades is very interested.
