Ellis Brooks

Hello Ellis, are still visiting Oregon this weekend?

EB: It is next weekend, Jan.20th.

Are you visiting anyone this weekend?

EB: Northwestern and LSU, NW-FRI to Sunday, LSU-Sunday to Tuesday. I don't have school on Monday.

Will you take those trips with family? Will anyone be coming to Eugene with you next week?

EB: My parents are traveling with me this weekend as well as to Oregon next week.

How big of a factor is distance for you and your family?

EB: Distance doesn't make a difference; I just want to play where I am comfortable with the coaches and the direction of the program.

What type of conversation have you had with Coach Taggart or Leavitt? How do they see you fitting in?

EB: They said they see me playing the Mike LB and being able to come in and play early.

How interested in Oregon are you? What is it about the Ducks that has your interest?

EB: I'm very interested; I was one of the first recruits Coach Taggart called when he got the job. That means a lot to me that he likes me enough to do that.

Players really seem to like Coach Taggart, can you give some insight in to him, and how he comes across?

EB: He comes across as a coach who can change the direction of a program to become much better and is truly concerned about his players and coaches.

Thanks again, have a great day!

EB: No problem.
