Oregon picks up recruit No. 18 with the verbal commitment of Bruce Judson

Bruce Judson, 5-9, 195 is a 3-star athlete from Cocoa, Florida and announced today that he has verbally committed to Oregon via Twitter

Judson had whittled his choices down to Oregon and Oregon State but picked the Ducks and Head Coach Willie Taggart. In all Judson had over 28 offers from programs around the country.

“Coach Taggart has been like a father/uncle to me since I met him seven months, it’s been nothing but real love and respect,” Judson tweeted. “It was a hard decision, it really was, and with that being said I will be furthering my education and football career at the University of Oregon.”

Described by Scout.com as one of the top playmakers in Florida, Judson played quarterback in high school though likely he’ll play another position in college. Analysts at Scout.com believe Judson could play running back, wide receiver, slot or cornerback in the Pac-12.

He has the ability to have great burst of speed and is very elusive. During high school he passed for over a 1,000 yards as well as matching the amount running the ball in 2013 alone.
